Sunday Service

Occuring
Every Sunday at for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
St Nicholas Stevenage
Address
Rectory Lane Stevenage, SG1 4DA , United Kingdom

Come and join us this Sunday!

Our services include a range of songs and hymns, clear Bible teaching, and a very warm welcome.

On most Sundays, we run a Sunday school group for children aged 3-14 and refreshments are served after each service. Services follow Common Worship and we share the Lord's Supper (communion) each 2nd and 4th Sunday.

On any 5th Sunday of the month the service will be at the slightly later time of 10:30am, though there will still be people around setting things up from about 9:30.

St Nicholas Stevenage

St Nicholas is the original church of Stevenage and remains a vibrant parish today, proclaiming the unchanging message of God’s mercy revealed in the Bible and in Jesus Christ.

We are people of all ages and backgrounds, gathered from across Stevenage and beyond. We meet 9:30am to 10:45am on Sundays to hear God's word, the Bible, and to respond in prayer and praise. From the word we learn more about the God who made us and His Son who died and rose again, so that all who trust in Him might be forgiven and have eternal life. Sunday school ('S-Club') meets during the service, in the adjacent upper parish room.

Some of us are firm believers in Jesus, others are still investigating the Christian faith. But wherever you are on your walk of faith, we hope you will find a warm welcome and some help for the journey.

Safeguarding

The parish of St Nicholas is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of St Albans' safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA), who advises our PSO.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
