Hello

We are proud to be people of different colours, from different places, have different abilities and ages who meet together on Sunday mornings to celebrate God's love for them in Jesus.

Together as Anglicans and Methodists, we have been worshipping in Chells for over 50 years.

Our worship style is relaxed and includes both modern and traditional forms of worship.

We would love to see you and you would receive a very warm welcome.

Safeguarding

St Hugh and St John is a local ecumenical partnership; this means we are both Church of England (Diocese of St Albans) and Methodist (Beds, Esses and Herts Methodist District) . For safeguarding purposes we follow Methodist procedures.

We are committed to safeguarding as an integral part of our life and ministry. Safeguarding is about the action the Church takes to promote a safer culture. We will promote the welfare of children, young people and adults, work to prevent abuse from occurring, seek to protect those that are at risk of being abused and respond well to those that have been abused. We will take care to identify where a person may present a risk to others, and offer support to them whilst taking steps to mitigate such risks..

Although safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone; here at St Hugh and St John, Greta Gardiner, (t. 07903 148 079 e. [email protected]) is our designated Safeguarding Lead and can be contacted anytime
