This weekend we shall be celebrating Harvest across the parish and thinking very much about our role in the care of God's creation. Here at St Michael's we are delighted to welcome Martin Poulsom, one of Operation Noah's trustees as our guest preacher. Martin is a Salesian of Don Bosco, a Roman Catholic religious order specializing in youth ministry. He is a Senior Lecturer in Theology at the University of Roehampton, and specializes in theology of creation. As a parish we are committed to caring for creation and Martin's presence will challenge us all in our thinking and our acting. Whether you are a regular worshipper with us or simply live, work or play in the parish do join us on Sunday. After the service we always have fabulous cake and coffee and plenty of opportunity to share thoughts and ideas together.

Do Join us for our weekly Parish Mass every Sunday morning at 10.30am.  

St Michael & All Angels, South Beddington is one of two churches within our parish, the other being St Paul's on Roundshaw.  Both churches are in the modern Catholic tradition. St Michael's stands clearly and unashamedly in the Anglo-Catholic tradition, whilst St Paul's offers a somewhat less formal style of worship. Both churches have friendly congregations drawn mainly from the local communities and a number of our parishioners attend services and social activites across the two.  We are active in our local community, with strong links to 3rd Beddington Scout Group and growing links with our primary and secondary schools.  A weekly foodbank at St Michael's and Thursday children's club (St Mike's Tykes) as well as a lunch club for the elderly at St Pauls are just a few of the ways our faith is lived out in community through the week.

Our doors are open at both churches across the week (although not currently all day or every day) and you are welcome, whether you wish to sit quietly or join with others for prayer, worship and/or activities and chat.
