If you’re approaching via the main gate, please be careful; the builders’ vans have churned up some of the grass outside the gate and it can be very slippery in wet weather.World Day of Prayer 7th March: This year’s World Day of Prayer is on Friday in St Mary’s at 2.30 in the afternoon, with refreshments afterwards. This is an ecumenical service open to all, and we join with Christians around the world as we take part in this service prepared by the Christian Women of the Cook Islands. Please come and join us if you can.Electoral Roll (ER) Renewal: The Electoral Roll is an important declaration of support for your church, an assertion that you are a member of the church and/or committed to the church's presence in the local community. So many good things stem from the life of each of the local churches and we want to serve the wider community in the best way that we can. It also allows people to have their say at the Church's Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) and to play a part in how the church is run.On a 6 yearly cycle every church in the country must renew their Electoral Roll, 2025 is that year!Each of the churches within the benefice will be renewing their ER between now and their Annual Parochial Church Meeting. Everyone who wishes to remain on, or join, the roll must complete and sign a new form. Notices for the Preparation of a New Electoral Roll are now being displayed in each of the churches. Copies of the Application forms will be available from Sunday 16th March, in each church and on the benefice website.New group in All Saints: On Saturday 22nd March from 2.30-4pm in All Saints Little Munden church Heather is starting a group for those who have lost their partners, either recently or many years go. The fairtrade Real Easter Egg is available and Marion has managed to secure a good price at £5.50 each. There is a limited number as suppliers have reduced their stock because the price of chocolate has increased so much. Come and get yours now. Easter cards may also be for sale.And benefice book stall: The bookstall will also be in St Mary’s this weekend, with Christian books for Easter for children and adults. Please come and browse the stock. As ever, if there’s a title that Lizzy doesn’t have, she will get it for you.Choral Evensong on Sunday: Do join us on Sunday evening at 6pm in St Mary's for our service of Choral Evensong. Music will include Philip Stopford's new anthem 'The Lord is my shepherd'. We will also reflect on Psalm 99. There will hymns for all to join in with.Midweek Music Wednesday 26th February: The next Midweek Music concert is on this coming Wednesday, and will be given by students at St Edmund’s College. It’s so good to support these youngsters in their musical development and public performance is a crucial part of that, so your support will be greatly appreciated.
