The supper will be served at various locations in the village, and tickets are £35, to include wine.Holiday Bible Club 29th August to 1st September, 10.00 until 3.00: We are starting to assemble the team to support this year’s holiday Bible club and the publicity is going out to schools etc in the next week or so. The theme will be Jonah, linking each part of Jonah’s story with gospel stories. We’ll need people to help with leading groups, preparing refreshments and setting up and clearing craft activities. Gates will open at 5 p.m. Tickets include Prosecco on arrival and a two course Buffet supper. There will be a licensed Bar offering wine and Pimms, and coffee & tea will be available. This month, the soloist, trumpeter Stuart Dodgson, requested that the retiring collection should go to Macmillan Cancer Support. We are pleased to report the wonderful sum of £349 was raised.
