An ancient service moving from darkness to light as we recall the night of the resurrection of Jesus
The service begins in darkness with a series of bible readings; after which we go outside to light the first candles of Easter, bringing the light slowly back into the church to announce the resurrection. A Eucharist follows, with renewal of baptismal vows

Welcome to St Mary's Ware

The church building is usually open 9am - 5:30pm daily. Please come in to say a prayer, light a candle, explore the building, browse the bookstall, sit and enjoy the space. For whatever reason you come - welcome.

CHRISTMAS WEEK OPENING

Christmas Eve - opening as usual. On Christmas Day the building will be closed from midday until Saturday 27th December when we will aim to open up by 10:30am. Normal opening, as above, from then on.

11am Eucharist, in Church

4pm Crib Service - Christmas Eve service especially for families with young children 

11pm Midnight Mass (please note the time - this is half an hour earlier than in previous years)

Thursday 25th - Christmas Day

10am Christmas Day Eucharist, for all the family
