Everyone is welcome.Every last Saturday of the month, 8:30am at The Wilshere Hall, St Andrew’s Church.Care Home ServicesThere are two Care Homes (Willowthorpe and Belmont View) in our Benefice and we visit each of them regularly once a month. The service is designed to be accessible to everyone including those residents who have memory problems, and we welcome people from all Christian denominations. We sing and pray together, listen to a Bible reading and enjoy having church. We have at least four hymns, chosen to reflect the church seasons and celebrations, and to engage with the long term memories of residents. We offer Communion or a Blessing at the end of the service and respect the choice and traditions of everyone who comes. All Age Service is a great place to start… Join us every 1st Sunday of the month: 9:00am at St John the Baptist, Great Amwell and 10:30am St Andrew’s Church, Stanstead Abbots Plus, Sunday School is back! Available every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month in the Wilshere Hall at St Andrew’s Church. A 20-minute session (from the Readings to Communion), giving the children a chance to listen and reflect on the theme of the day in an age-appropriate way, but also experience the worship and join in too.We look forward to seeing you!
