Take time to pray with Breathe - our monthly prayer gathering - and join us on Zoom at 8.30am. Grab a hot drink, get comfortable and join us (usually on the first Saturday of the month) as we pray during these challenging times.

For those who haven't been to Breathe before, you won't be asked to pray out loud - your presence and silent prayer is enough.

You'll find the Zoom link here:

If you're not on the mailing list already and would like to receive the link and more details by email, please contact Phil in the church office: [email protected].

St Andrew's

Welcome to St Andrew's - no one belongs here more than you

Following the example of Jesus, and seeking to model the inclusive love of God, we welcome all people whatever your status, wealth, gender, ethnicity, sexuality, age, health or mobility.

We believe that a church must first be a safe place in which to explore and to fail; where questions are encouraged and everyone is welcome.

Please see our website for all the latest details about our regular and seasonal services (click on Get in Touch and then Our Website under Say "Hello").

WORSHIP: Our weekly pattern of worship is currently as follows:

Sundays
8.00am Holy Communion (BCP) at St Andrew's
9.15am Communion Service at St Mary’s Hertingfordbury (our sister church)
10.30am Communion Service at St Andrew's
10.30am Sunday Morning Worship on Zoom
7.00pm Compline on Zoom

Wednesdays
10.30am Communion Service at St Andrew's
7.30pm Mindfulness & Meditation (twice a month)

If you'd like to take part in our regular Zoom services, please get in touch with Phil at the church office email address ([email protected]) so we can add you to our mailing list. Or visit our website to find out more.

OPEN CHURCH: St Andrew's Church is open daily during daylight hours (approx 9.00am - 5.00pm; times may vary slightly).

There is a prayer space by the main door where there is an opportunity to light a candle.

================================================================

The parish of Hertford St Andrew is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of St Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
