St Mary's Church, Aston.
Jesus said: 'I came that they may have life and have it abundantly' (John 10:10)
We meet together to share our hopes and fears with God and become the people we are meant to be. We are part of the Diocese of St Albans www.stalbans.anglican.org in the Beane Valley Benefice and share the vision of ‘Going Deeper into God, Making New Disciples and Transforming Communities’.
The Beane Valley Benefice parish churches include St Mary's Aston, St Andrew’s Bramfield, St Mary’s Stapleford, St Michael and All Angels Waterford, St Andrew and St Mary’s Watton at Stone.
"The parish of Aston is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St.Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."

Most churches are “Excepted Charities” and are therefore not registered with the Charity Commission. You can download a PDF that includes your church name, address and church code. This PDF, which is an extract from the Church of England’s database of churches, can serve as a certificate for churches requiring proof of their charity status when registering for online and card-based giving. Click on the download button below and fill in the short form. You will then be emailed the certificate as a PDF.
