Please do come along and join us on Sunday 10th November as we remember all those armed forces members who have died in the line of duty. This will be a Eucharist Service. After the service, you are welcome to come along to the Amwell Lane War Memorial where we will hold a short service starting at 10.30am.

Welcome to St John the Baptist, Great Amwell’s Parish Church.

St John the Baptist is part of the Great Amwell with St Margarets and Stanstead Abbots Benefice. Our 3 Churches Benefice covers three villages with four churches, so we are blessed to be able to provide a variety of services. St John the Baptist, beautifully set above the New River, enjoys a more formal style of worship.
