St. Mary’s Choir is central to worship at St Mary's. We sing a broad range of music across the ages.
We welcome all who wish to sing with us. Singing and sight reading experience are useful but not essential.

A quiet, reflective, meditative service.
A reflective candlelit service to mark the beginning of Advent with music, hymns, readings, Advent rather than Christmas Carols and prayers for the beginning of Advent
We welcome all preschool children and their parents, grandparents or other carers for a short service, play, drinks and chat.
Please do come and join in the fun!
Working through a specific theme each term.
A quiet reflective way to end the day. This 15 - 20 minute service takes place in the Chancel by candlelight. Takes place on Wednesdays in Advent on 4th, 11th and 18th December
A beautiful candle lit service with each child holding a Christingle. Particularly suitable for families and children. Each child will take away their own Christingle. The collection goes to The Children's Society
A full sung evening service.

In August, there are sung summer evensongs at 6:30pm every Sunday, which rotate round the six team churches.
In depth Bible study working through books of the Bible, followed by optional lunch

(usually second Saturday - very occasionally moves)

A service either evensong or holy communion with hymns
The walking group meets at a local pub to walk some 4 to 5 miles before returning to the pub for lunch. We are a friendly group and welcome newcomers. Great exercise and a good way to get to know people.
Informal discussions with visiting speakers and bible study
Candlelit with readings, contributions from the choir, and Christmas carols
Particularly suitable for families and children. The nativity characters are placed in the crib by willing volunteers from the congregation. Come in good time to get a seat as this service is always very popular! A collection will be taken for the charity Crisis at Christmas.
Join us to celebrate the birth of Christ at the first Eucharist of Christmas. All baptised Christians are welcome to take Communion and others please come to the altar rail for a blessing. A collection will be taken for the charity Crisis at Christmas
