This Advent, we warmly invite you to join us on a journey to explore the theme of
‘Travelling Light’ over four weeks.

Together, we’ll walk alongside biblical travellers, reflecting on their stories and imagining conversations with them.

As we journey toward Christmas, we’ll discover insights that lift our spirits, guide our steps, and perhaps even challenge us to change direction.

Most importantly, as we move together towards the light of Christ, we’ll discover more of that light and find new ways to share it with others.

What to Expect:

9:45 am
Refreshments

10:00 am
- Bible readings and thoughtful reflections
- Engaging discussion and prayer
- Music, videos, and meaningful takeaways for the week ahead
- …and much more!

Whether you’re a regular churchgoer or have never stepped into a church before, you are very welcome. Come as you are and be part of this journey with us.

St Michael & All Angels

Welcome to St Michael and All Angels!

We are an inclusive, community-focussed church, that aims to help people of all ages and backgrounds encounter God in both traditional and contemporary ways.

St Michael's seeks to be a safe place to explore faith, ask questions, and grow as a follower of Jesus.

Our weekly pattern of worship is currently:

Sundays

- 1st Sunday of the Month -  'All Together' Communion (for all ages)

- 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays of the month - Sunday Club for children offered during the service (with some exceptions during the Easter, Summer and Christmas school holidays).

Tuesdays

Safeguarding

The parish of St Michael's is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of St Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs (https://www.stalbansdiocese.org/safeguarding/). If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA or the parish safeguarding officer on [email protected].  If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
