St Francis Church Selsdon

Welcome to St Francis

St Francis Selsdon (Monks Hill) is a lively Anglican church which is passionate about serving the community of Selsdon & Monks Hill and growing in our faith together.

We run many community activities such as our Foodstop community shop, youth work, Place of Welcome, and everyone says we are a friendly bunch!

Our main worship gathering is a Sunday morning but we also do housegroups, healing services and prayers. We look forward to meeting you soon!

Our main service is every Sunday at 10.30am with children's and youth groups. A mixture of old and new, with a strong emphasis on stories of what God is doing in our lives today, Biblical preaching and worshipping God together using contemporary songs and the best of traditional hymns.

Live streams of these services are available on Facebook.

The Light House & Community

The Light House is the newly-built adjacent community centre which runs many community events and is available to hire.

Here hosts the Food Stop (a community food sharing scheme), the Monks Hill Youth Club, and much more - see our website for all the community activities that take place here.

Outside the Light House, we host the Welcome Lunch, the Kidz Club for under 16s and more. Other activities outside the Light House can also be seen on our website.

Men's Shed

The Men’s Shed is a “repair shop” initiative (https://menssheds.org.uk/) designed to reach men, particularly those who don’t like coming to coffee mornings etc. We are planning to do several things in our Men's Shed – repairing household items, and learning new skills with qualified teachers – for example plumbing or electrical work.
