St. John’s War Memorial

Back in April/May 2012, a member of the congregation (Eddie Washington) had a chance meeting with a member of the local British Legion (Robert Gill) who was researching local War Memorials, and Eddie mentioned that St. John’s had one dedicated to the Australians. Some of his research can be found here, together with a list of names on the Memorial.

Robert came back recently (Oct’ 2012) with some further information regarding men from the surrounding area some of which are from the parish of St. John’s Digswell, you can find this information here.
