Christ Church is a friendly and inclusive church that welcomes all people. We believe in the ministry of both men and women, and we accept everyone as they are. We believe we are all made in God's image.
You don't have to ask to join, or to come here, Anglican churches are public places, intended to serve the community and you can literally just turn up at any service.
You'll be warmly welcomed!
We are part of Cheshunt Team Ministry (Christ Church, St Mary's Cheshunt, St Clement's, Turnford and St James' Goffs Oak) and the churches work closely together.

St Mary the Virgin
As the Church of England parish church, we are available for all the people of Cheshunt. Many people at very different stages of life and belief discover through the church how God relates to ordinary life. We try to cater both for those who come occasionally, for those who come regularly and for newcomers. Christians have worshipped here since St Mary's was first built some 600 years ago, although there is evidence of an older church building, dedicated to St John the Baptist, on the site of our present day church.
Generations of people have adapted the building for its main purpose - to be the focus and base for our church’s mission in Cheshunt. We exist to discover the love of God revealed in the world. By worship, prayer, teaching and service we seek to point to that love most especially made known in the person of Jesus Christ. We work closely with the three other churches in the Cheshunt Team Ministry, St Clement's, Turnford, St James', Goffs Oak, and Christ Church, Waltham Cross.
