St Nicholas
Welcome to St Nicholas Hinxworth! We are a friendly parish church in the beautiful small, North Hertfordshire village of Hinxworth. We have services every Sunday at 9:15am. Most weeks this is Holy Communion, but on the first Sunday of the month, our service is a more relaxed Service of the Word, suitable for all ages.
"The parish of Hinxworth is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St.Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."

St Mary the Virgin
Welcome to St Mary's!
We are a friendly, parish church in the beautiful North Hertfordshire village of Ashwell.
Our main Sunday service is at 10:45am, and is a traditional Anglican Parish Communion on most Sundays. On the first Sunday of the month we have a more informal All Age Service, which we call Thank God it's Sunday. Our Sunday morning services are always followed by tea & coffee, and we greatly enjoy this time of fellowship and welcome! (An earlier Sunday service is available at St Nicholas' Hinxworth, at 9:15am).
We also have an evening service at 5pm each week. On the first Sunday of the month, this is Holy Communion, on the third Sunday it is a Sacred Space service and the other Sundays tend to be BCP Evening Prayer or Evensong, depending on whether the choir and musicians are available.
For those who would like to sit more socially distanced, seating is available in the south aisle and if you can't attend physically you can join us on Zoom on a Sunday morning, via our Zoom church
(If you can’t use the link, you can use the Meeting ID: 848 3055 8684 Passcode: 277646)
St Mary's is open every day, during daylight hours, so that you can visit our wonderful historic church and spend time praying in the beautiful space. The Ashwell Food Pantry is also available when the church is open.

This PDF, which is an extract from the Church of England’s database of churches, can serve as a certificate for churches requiring proof of their charity status when registering for online and card-based giving.
