Layston Church Yard

Church yards are sacred ground, a place to lay our loved ones to rest in God's care.

Layston church yard including the Garden of Remembrance, is the church yard for St Peter's church in Buntingford. It is available for those who were resident in the parish of Buntingford with Layston at the time of their death or were regular members of the worshipping community of St Peter's church.

Layston church yard is now closed for full burials other than a burial into an existing grave. The Garden of Remembrance is available for interments of ashes or an interment can go into an existing family grave.
