Worship for all, kids and adults all together! The service is usually interactive as we sing, listen to bible readings, pray and think, discuss together.
We don't have a communion in this service so if you would like to receive Holy Communion today, our church in Westmill has a Holy Communion service today.

Following the expiry of the Suspension of the Patron’s right of Presentation
and following consultation with the Patrons, PCCs and the Revd Kirsty
Wainwright, is welcomed in this service which marks the appointment
of Revd Kirsty as Rector of the Benefice.

Our service of Holy Communion includes bible readings, a sermon, given by one of the clergy team, traditional hymns and prayers.

Everyone is welcome to join us and we serve tea/coffee after the service and take the opportunity to catch up with each other.

Everyone is welcome to come and celebrate as we explore the meaning behind Mothering Sunday.

We gather to listen to bible readings and a talk by one of the ministry team, singing songs and traditional hymns and prayers.

All are welcome and we always serve refreshments after the service-do stay for a coffee and a chat.

Our Annual Parochial Church Meeting will take place at St Mary's at 10am following coffee/tea and cakes. This is an opportunity to look back at our church life of 2024, with questions, reflections and hopefully, plenty to be thankful for!

A reflective service with songs and readings to remember Jesus' final journey to Jerusalem.

As part of our Holy Week preparations we will be holding a service of Night Prayer also known as Compline. It is a short said service including a psalm and a bible reading. You are very welcome to join us for this quiet, reflective service at St Mary the Virgin, Westmill on Monday 14th April, Tuesday 15th April at St Mary's, Aspenden and Wednesday 16th April at St Peter's, Buntingford.

A service including a simple communion and the washing of feet as we remember Jesus' last day with his friends.

Wrap up warm and join us outdoors to see the sun rise to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. We will share breakfast together in the church following the service.

Celebrate Easter with us at our 9.30am all age communion service followed with an Easter Egg hunt.

Come along to our plant sale to stock up on some home-grown plants for you garden. There will be a variety of plants to choose from including, vegetables, indoor plants, perennials and annuals.

Bishops' Stortford Bell Ringers are holding their Annual General Meeting at St Mary's.

Join us for a coffee and some delicious cake at St Mary's. There will be a raffle and plants for sale to. All donations will go towards the upkeep of our beautiful church.

As we are heading off to St Albans Cathedral for the ordinations today, we will be holding only one service of Holy Communion for our 3 churches. Further details including the venue will be confirmed later in the year.

Save the date if you would like to join us for this reflective service as we remember those we love but see no longer. We will light candles in their memory and there will be hymns and prayers. The venue will be confirmed later in the year.

All are welcome to join us for a Remembrance Day All Age Worship service. After the service there will be a Roll of Honour as an act of Remembrance at the War Memorial, naming those people from Aspenden parish who lost their lives during the 1st and 2nd World Wars.

Following the success of our first Christmas Tree Festival, we are delighted to hold this event again. This year, it will be over the weekend of Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th December.

For a truly beautiful traditional carol service, come along to St Mary's in Aspenden. The church will be decorated and lit with candles to get you prepared for Christmas. There will be bible readings, choir and congregation carols.
Please come early as this service is very well attended. Doors open at 7pm.
