Advent is a time for preparation but it can also be quite a stressful time. Come and join us as we explore the preparation for both the material and spiritual sides of Christmas, as well as things we can do to help us all make the festival more meaningful and enjoyable.

We’ll have music, a sketch for everyone who wants to get involved with, sone crafting and drinks and bickies to round off our time together.

St James The Great

Welcome to St James the Great, High Wych!

Our delightful and unusually small Victorian church was designed by C.E. Pritchett and consecrated in 1861. It has a number of interesting features including a round bell turret with a blue 'Bennet' clock, a richly decorated apse and a two-manual 'Father Willis' organ and is situated next to its C of E primary school, High Wych School, which was built at the same time.
