At the Sawbridgeworth Christmas Lights we will be selling the mice that inhabited the church during the Scarecrow Festival. The money raised with be going toward providing step-free access at St James
As we move into this weekend it is a time for Remembrance. We have our service as usual at St James at 9.30 am, followed by refreshments before the Act of Remembrance in the churchyard, and coffee afterwards I think, however I will not be able to stay and chat with you as I have to dash off to St Botolph’s.At St Botolph’s, Eastwick we are having the Act of Remembrance followed by coffee and cake and one of the neighbours is bringing his father’s medals to talk about over this time. Please join us if this would interest you.The prayer walk (even in the rain) on Wednesday was wonderful to pray for all the village of High Wych, thank you to those who joined me. This next week I will be walking in Gilston through to Eastwick and back starting from St Mary’s Church, should you care to join me on Wednesday 15th November 2023 at 9.30 am. I will walk even if it rains. Please continue to pray for all that we see on the news with regard to the Ukranian/Russian conflict and the Isreali/Palestinian conflict. I feel compelled at this time to keep bringing this situation to God and I ask that you join me in this.
