Safeguarding

“At Little Munden, we are committed to ensuring our church is a safe and welcoming place for everyone. It is with deep sorrow that we acknowledge a single non-recent safeguarding allegation against the Revd Norman Lempriere during his time as Rector of All Saints’, Little Munden from 1961-1964. We express our regret to those affected and extend our apologies to the survivor, recognising the harm and lasting impact this may have had on their life.

Support is available for anyone impacted, and we encourage those affected to get in touch. We are here to listen and to offer assistance as needed.

Safeguarding is a matter we take very seriously. In partnership with the Diocese’s Safeguarding Team and relevant authorities, we have taken appropriate action in response to this incident.

We understand that this may be a challenging time for some in our community, and we are here to help. If you have any concerns or would like to speak with someone, please contact our Parish Safeguarding Officer at [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Team at [email protected] and 07867 350 886.

Our parish considers the safety and well-being of children and vulnerable adults a profound responsibility and one of our highest priorities. Our safeguarding practices uphold our commitment to a safe and supportive church.”
