An Easter Message from St Michael’s

Chocolate’s great, isn’t it. I love an Easter Egg, and indeed a Hot Cross Bun. It’s uplifting to see the signs of Spring after a long dreary winter, too. Daffodils, tulips and blossom on the trees all raise the spirits. Signs of new life like fluffy yellow chicks and cute baby rabbits warm our hearts after the cold. There’s much more to Easter, though, than treats, flowers and bunnies, if we’re up for it. A new, eternal kind of life that doesn’t just regenerate in March, but lasts for ever. A victory over hatred, evil and death that doesn’t just make us smile, but can turn our lives around. A spiritual feast that goes on nourishing our souls long after the chocolate is all gone. If you’d like to taste some of that, you’ll be very welcome to join us as we journey towards Christ’s resurrection on Easter Day. Do come to any of the services overleaf that you’d like to.
