St Michael's

St Michael's is the church at the centre of the town of Bishop's Stortford in Hertfordshire. The Church is open as a quiet place for visitors, as well as for regular services and for private prayer. We welcome families and we have a session for children and young people at our 10am Sunday service.

We aim to be a welcoming and transforming community of people who know, love and serve God. We are part of the Church of England.

If you are new to the Church or the area, you will be very welcome to join us for one of our services. Please look at our website to get more information about what goes on at St Michael's.

Our parish of St Michael, Bishop's Stortford is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of St Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
