St Mark's is an inclusive and eclectic congregation enjoying the traditions of Anglo Catholic worship.
You are assured of a warm welcome here. The Churchwardens, John Hay and Tony Hosier and our Team Vicar, Fr Tristan Chapman are pleased to welcome all who come to St Mark's Barnet Vale and invite those who come to Sunday Morning Service to stay for coffee in the hall after the service.
St Mark's Victorian Nave was designed by J. L. Pearson, and was originally completed in 1899, although work on the actual church started in 1895. Sadly, Pearson did not live to see the work completed, and his son saw the work to its conclusion. The church was modified in 2005 to incorporate a new chancel and sacristy completed to Pearson's design and new purpose built halls were added underneath, finished to a high standard.
If you would like to hire our halls, contact the Hall Manager on 020 84417524 or 07812 568257; or email: [email protected]
Our principle service each week is on Sundays at 9.15am-
A Eucharist (Mass/Holy Communion) in traditonal language on the 1st Sunday of the month and in modern language on other Sundays. During term time there is a Sunday School every week except the first Sunday of the month.
There is also a mid-week Said Eucharist (Mass) every Wednesday at 11am (traditional language).
