Christingle Service

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
St James
Address
71 East Barnet Road New Barnet Barnet, EN4 8RN, United Kingdom

This is a Christmas Service to celebrate that Jesus is the light of the world. The Christingle (meaning “Christ light”) represents God’s love for all the world and the hope and joy that light brings to a dark world.
Bring your children to help us light up the church from all four corners (and with oranges as well as candlelight!), and to welcome in the Christ child too...

St James

10.15am every Sunday with Kids Club - on zoom and later the sermon is on YouTube as well - all welcome! Come and discover the hope we have in Jesus!

Safeguarding

Our parish of St James New Barnet is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of St.Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSOs or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
