There is no Evensong services during the school holidays. There is no service on the Sunday 27th October 2024. The next Evensong service will be on the 3rd November, every Sunday till 8th December (the last in 2024), and then restart on the 5th January 2025.
"Cathedral style" Evensong is soaked in prayer, worship and fine organ music, much of which reflects some of the oldest traditions of the St John's the Baptist Church. It is hoped that in this service you will meet with Jesus, and be overwhelmed by his grace, mercy and love.

Regular Wednesday service at St John the Baptist Church is Midweek Eucharist(BCP).
Opportunity for play and activities for the children and a time for the adults to talk and enjoy the company of other carers. Parents/Carers/Grandparents welcome with their children ( a parent or carer must remain throughout).
Healthy snacks and drinks will be provided for the children/drinks will be provided for the adults.
Suggested donation £2 per child.
Every Thursday during term time. There is no Little Saints Toddler group during school holidays.
COMMUNITY CAROL SERVICE at Barnet Church, accompanied by The Barnet Band.
"Welcome table" is on the First and Third Wednesdays of the month at 12.30pm, when we are serving a light meal (with dessert!) to anyone who asks for one. If you know someone who is finding it hard to cope with rising prices etc, please let them know about it.

Christmas has at its heart the idea that the light of God comes into the world. The light of Christ comes into the world, in to our lives, into the creation. That light is celebrated at the Christingle. Come share the light this Christingle at St John the Baptist Barnet Church on Sunday 8th December at 4pm.
BLUE CHRISTMAS at Barnet Church 21st December at 3pm is a service for those who find this time of year difficult.
A service of scripture, silence and poetry, hymns and beautiful music. Especially for those who feel loss and pain and bewilderment.
Service will be followed by mince pies, tea and coffee.
