"Welcome table" is on the First and Third Wednesdays of the month at 12.30pm, when we are serving a light meal (with dessert!) to anyone who asks for one. If you know someone who is finding it hard to cope with rising prices etc, please let them know about it.

Regular Sunday evening service at St John the Baptist Church is Choral Evensong (during term time)
There is no Evensong services during the school holidays. There is no services in December, services restart on the 5th January 2025.
"Cathedral style" Evensong is soaked in prayer, worship and fine organ music, much of which reflects some of the oldest traditions of the St John's the Baptist Church. It is hoped that in this service you will meet with Jesus, and be overwhelmed by his grace, mercy and love.

Monday-Friday at 9.15am.

All welcome to join St John the Baptist Church Friendship group.
Please, come and have a cup of tea/coffee, cake and a chat.

Opportunity for play and activities for the children and a time for the adults to talk and enjoy the company of other carers. Parents/Carers/Grandparents welcome with their children ( a parent or carer must remain throughout).
Healthy snacks and drinks will be provided for the children/drinks will be provided for the adults.
Suggested donation £2 per child.
