Opportunity for play and activities for the children and a time for the adults to talk and enjoy the company of other carers. Parents/Carers/Grandparents welcome with their children ( a parent or carer must remain throughout).
Healthy snacks and drinks will be provided for the children/drinks will be provided for the adults.
Suggested donation £2 per child.

Choral Evensong

Regular Sunday evening service at St John the Baptist Church is Choral Evensong (during term time).
There is no Evensong services during the school holidays from the 20th of July & throughout August 2025.
Choral Evensong will resume on Sunday 14th September at new time 6.30pm.

"Cathedral style" Evensong is soaked in prayer, worship and fine organ music, much of which reflects some of the oldest traditions of the St John's the Baptist Church. It is hoped that in this service you will meet with Jesus, and be overwhelmed by his grace, mercy and love.

🎨 Theme: "Won’t You Be My Friend" – exploring the Parable of the Good Samaritan
👧🧒 Aimed at: Children in Year 1 to Year 4
🍽️ The afternoon will conclude with a sit-down meal for the children.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Please note: a parent, carer, or responsible adult must remain with the child/children throughout the event.
