Stondon Garden Festival – Saturday 4th May 12:00-4:00pm – All Saints Church
If you are interested in gardening, have a new garden to plan or want to makeover your existing garden, then the Garden Festival is for you! We have experts in garden design, landscape construction, maintenance, allotment and vegetable growing, lawn care and plants on hand to advise you and we will have a Gardeners Question time corner for those really difficult gardening questions! You can buy and swap plants, buy vegetables and enjoy a cream tea or an ice cream while you wander round. There will be a free bouncy castle and free children’s garden games for the younger members of your families as well as your chance to win a hamper full of garden goodies and other raffle prizes.
We will be entertained by the fabulous Clifton Ukulele PlayerS (CUPS) during the course of the afternoon.
You can enter the garden art competition – there will be prizes in each age group:
The Garden art categories are:
Adults (18+years) – plants and flowers or garden design – draw or paint a picture of a flower or plant or design a sustainable garden to address climate change

There will be a display of the art work in the Church during the Garden Festival. Winners will be announced at the Festival and presented with their prizes. Art work can be collected at the end of the afternoon.
If you love gardening we are considering setting up a monthly garden club at Church, leave your details on entry when you arrive.
We have suggested a donation on entry of £2 per person with accompanied children free of charge. The much needed funds raised from the garden festival will go towards the running and restoration of the church building in service to the community of Stondon.
For more information please email: [email protected] or call 07717746505. This page will be updated as we near the Garden Festival and will also let you know our plans if the weather is not so good.
We look forward to seeing you. It’s the very first garden festival in Stondon so don’t miss it!
