All Saints Church

All Saints Church is the Parish Church for the villages of Shillington and Gravenhurst in Bedfordshire.

The church stands high on a chalk hill looking out to the Chiltern Hills and the Icknield Way. It was named ‘the Cathedral of the Chilterns’ by John Betjeman.

It has been a centre of worship for over 1000 years and continues to be active today. All are welcome!

Safeguarding

The parish of Gravenhurst and Shillington is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of St. Albans' safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA: [email protected]

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.

Our Parish Safeguarding Officer can be contacted by telephone on 07394903560 or by email on [email protected]
