Support us
The work that our churches do in our local communities is entirely funded and supported by donations and our local volunteers. It may be surprising to know that we do not receive central funding for what we do, and we are grateful for the generosity of our community in terms of time, talents and money to support our work.
As a church community we understand the work that we do in our villages to support and help people as being part of the service that we offer Christ. Giving, whether that is time, talents or money, is an important part of our worship. But you don’t have to be a regular at church to support what we do or to benefit from it. It is a key part of what the Church of England offers, that anyone in the local community can reach out to their parish church. Our regular activities across the churches in our benefice include a free-to-access toddler group, support for our local schools, supporting the local food bank, visiting people who are sick or lonely to provide pastoral and practical support, supporting people seeking asylum, providing social activities, providing support to people who are bereaved, the list could go on. We hope that you will be able to help us in continuing to provide this presence in our local communities.

Time and Talents:
We not only rely on donations to support our work; we also rely on local volunteers. There are lots of different areas that it is possible to get involved with and we encourage all the members of our congregation to prayerfully engage with what time and talents they have to offer. There are also many areas of our wider work in the local community that it is possible to get involved in without being a regular on a Sunday morning.
If you would like to find out more about getting involved in what we do, please complete the Time and Talents survey. You can download a printable version to complete by hand, this is available via the link below.
