St Mary's (Parish of Luton)

We are a friendly church in the heart of Luton. We enjoy being part of our diverse and multicultural town and our church family is made up of people from many different parts of the world.

Our heart is for a community of believers, united by the love of God and our desire to see Jesus' kingdom grow in our town, empowered by the Holy Spirit who lives in us and works through us.

At St Mary's, Luton, we are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).

Created and produced by Fine Art Textile Artist and long-term Azalea volunteer Nic Moody, Tear and Repair seeks to convey the personal narratives of five women caught in sex trafficking.

Each woven artwork makes manifest many of the emotions and experiences that the women have encountered.

The exhibition has been touring the UK and now comes to Luton, where some of the stories originate.
