Village lunch

Whipsnade village lunch is run by volunteers, who very generously donate the profit made to our church . It is run in a new format and is hopefully more sustainable for the volunteers and is held every 4 weeks on a Wednesday afternoon at Whipsnade village hall from 12.30pm. They offer a light hot lunch, cakes, tea and coffee for £7.00. There is also a raffle. Our next village lunch is on Wednesday 5th November and you will be able to buy tickets for our Christmas village lunch, which is on Wednesday 3rd December. The Christmas lunch will cost £12.00 and we will be having live music. This event is ticket only. Please come to the November lunch to buy your tickets.

Churchyard working party

We meet once a month on a Saturday morning 9am - 12pm, to take care of our beautiful churchyard. Our dates for the next two months are October 25th and November 15th. We will be tidying the Churchyard for Autumn and get ready for the leaf raking season! All are welcome to join our team and enjoy some fresh air and exercise. Refreshments will be provided.

The group meets in the church for company, refreshments and shared crafts every four weeks on a Tuesday afternoon from 2pm - 4pm. Choose your project, bring it along, and one of the our many Knitters will be there to help you along your journey to achieve amazing results. The Act of Remembrance takes place in Whipsnade during the service in the church (in front of the Whipsnade war memorials) on Sunday 9th November at 9am. Everyone is welcome to join in this community tribute to those men of Whipsnade who served, and in some cases died for their country.

Carol singing around Whipsnade Park homes
