Holy Communion for all in the Benefice
A Morning Prayer service is held in the Chancel at St George of England Church, each Monday morning at 9.30am. All Welcome.
We are now back at church each Sunday for the 9.30 am morning Holy Communion service. Service followed by refreshments afterwards.
Monthly teas/coffee and cakes usually on the fourth Wednesday of the month at Chalgrave Memorial Hall.
A wonderful time to learn more about the Christian faith in a friendly, informal setting. We begin with refreshments, then watch a film on a different weekly theme exploring such topics as Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? How can I be sure of My Faith? Why and How should I read the Bible? Does God Heal? Why and how do I pray? What does the Holy Spirit do? Then we move into small discussion groups to consider what we have heard that evening. The sessions soon become very special, with folks valuing each others company and by the end of the course, people have made new friends and feel like part of a bigger family. All are welcome.
