Hello! I’m Liz, and it’s wonderful to be here! Having spent four years at St Francis of Assisi Church in Welwyn Garden City, and the last two in the Welwyn Team Ministry - in Hertfordshire, we moved here in July, and are discovering the many joys of Bedfordshire village life. I am very thankful for the amazing warmth of welcome we have received.I feel blessed to be called to serve as your new Priest in Charge, I’m looking forward to discovering all that God has in store for us, and am excited by the opportunities that lie ahead to share the word and love of God together in the villages, schools, and communities of this wonderful Benefice
If you’ve been a parent, or carer, of a primary-age child during the last five years, you will probably have heard them talking about “The Storytellers” at Wrestlingworth lower school! Open the Book is a national, charitable organisation under the umbrella of the Bible Society, but was started up by a team in Bedford 22 years ago. There are now thousands of volunteers visiting thousands of primary schools up and down the country.
