St Mark's is a happy, friendly and inclusive church which welcomes people who appreciate the opportunity to be themselves, think through their faith intelligently and be open and tolerant to people who think differently. We don't seek to clone Christians here you are free to live and explore the person God wants you to be. The congregation is of mixed ages, and we have a thriving group of children who enjoy Sunday School during the services.
We take the Bible seriously and study scripture in our worship services. Our worship combines thoughtful liturgy and traditional hymns with the best contributions of the modern period, none of the silly stuff.

The church runs the busiest community centre in Bedfordshire with over 60 community groups and charities based at the centre. The groups include a learning disabilities day centre, and our own pre-school which operates 47 weeks a year from 7.30am until 6.00pm.
St Mark's offers the only opportunity in Bedford for the public to bury cremated remains in a consecrated churchyard, or at our woodland burial ground in Keysoe - www.woodlandburialtrust.com
