We're a warm and welcoming Christian community with lively services and a growing range of activities to suit people of all ages.

So we welcome all visitors and newcomers - and hope you'll come and see us soon!

Our Vision

We have just developed a statement of our vision for St Michael’s:
 

To be people of prayer and action, loving and trusting God and serving others… To be a place where all can belong, are welcomed and accepted and feel supported and inspired… To be peacemakers, with all others of good will, in the struggle for a just and peaceful world.

It’s not intended to be the last word! Just like ourselves, our vision is still a “work in progress”.

We’re very ambitious. We really believe that, with the help of God, everyone can do something to make a difference – for good! We’re not content to live with problems, pain, and suffering, whether on our doorstep or the other side of the world. And we’re naïve enough to think that the cynics and doom mongers have got it wrong.. that the world hasn’t gone to the dogs.. that we can all make a difference - if we work together and get on with it.
