DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

Wednesday 30th August 7.30pm Westoning Church Flower Arranging. Jon (01525-720695) has organised ameeting in church to discuss this. Please join us if you might be interested in helping.

Westoning Gift Day – we are holding a Gift Day in conjunction with the Annual Bike ‘n’ Hike on Saturday 9th September. The church will be open to all from 10am-4pm when plans for developing the back area of church will be on display. The day is aimed at making the community aware of what the church offers and how, particularly in the current financial climate, it becomes increasingly more difficult to maintain the church. Could you be a welcomer on that day or bake a cake for free refreshments on offer? Please speak to Margaret T, Julie or Janice.

Harlington Gift Day – Saturday 9th September – 10.00am – 4.00pm The church will be open, with refreshments and lots of different activities for all ages. Nature quiz and activities and craft, plus live organ music. Help us complete a picture of the “Church in Coins” (come with your spare change!). Learn more about the history of this beautiful building and see pictures of our current restoration project. Do pop along to say ‘Hello’, we’d love to see you.

Bike ‘n’ Hike – Saturday 9th September. All three Benefice churches will be taking part. Please do find out who is riding or walking and sponsor them. If you can offer help at any of the churches, please speak to the co-ordinator: Linda and Peter for Westoning, Fiona for Tingrith and Tricia for Harlington.
