TO celebrate the coronation we are holding a social event in the church with refreshments and singing - not just hymns but also songs from round the UK , and other community singing favourites . We shall also be formally naming the Roland King room at the back of the church in honour of our long-serving churchwarden whom we recently sadly lost when he died.

St Leonard's

Welcome! We are the parish church for Sandridge, and northern parts of Jersey Farm, St Albans. We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful church, which has stood on this site for over 900 years.  Join us at our Sunday service at 10am (followed by refreshments)  or on Tuesdays at 10.00am for a quieter traditional service of Holy Communion.  Please visit our church website at www.sandridgechurch.org.uk for more details - or use the link below.

The church is open from 10am  to 3pm every day for private prayer and a quiet space to just be. We have a children's corner and families are most welcome to drop in and use the children's books and toys.

We’d love to hear from you if you are planning a wedding or christening. And for funerals we can offer a service that is just right to remember and mourn a loved one. Please go to our website for contact details.

We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults and follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies with our own Parish Safeguarding Officers.  If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor on tel: 01727 818107 or 07867 350886. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
