Food Partnership with CO-OP
We are really excited how this is growing. We are usually collecting 6 nights a week from all three CO-OP stores (Woodhatch, Trehaven & South Park).
From that we:
➢ Provide food parcels twice a week to 10 families
➢ Provide bread and pastries to Key Workers at ESH 5 days a week
➢ Give one whole collection to Wayside
➢ Give one whole collection to Redhill Women’s Refuge
➢ Give to bread (& more) to Margaret Laurie House fortnightly
All those who receive food parcels in any way are very thankful for the food and support The team has grown to 11 people sharing out the roles of collection, allocation and distribution. Some of our congregation are purchasing extras in their regular shopping and passing that on to the church and that is included in the food parcels to the families - Thank you SO much. If you would like to contribute food, please let Alison or Anita know and we can arrange for it to get to the church. We accept anything (but we don’t need fruit or veg).
