Our annual community commemoration of all who have died or suffered in war. We will meet this year in the Y2K hall at 9.30am for a family friendly service shared with our friends from Markyate Baptist Church. Then we will process through Humbers Hoe down to the War Memorial, gathering shortly before 11am for the reading of the names of the fallen, the silence and the Last Post and Reveille.

(The police are unable to close the road along the High Street this year, so we have changed our procession route to something safer.)

Just call us 'St John's'. We're the church in the valley in Markyate.

Our building is simple and we love it. Our love for God is straightforward and spiritual. We do our best to show our faith in our works: our parish pantry is for all in need. We try to spread love and peace in our favourite village, Markyate. 

We are an inclusive church: that means that we welcome and involve everyone, of every age, race, background, language, ability and sexuality. This includes you.
