St Peter & St Paul

We’re a Christian Anglican Church whose aim is to make Christ known in Kimpton. We open every day to serve the whole village of Kimpton. We aim to be active and visible at the heart of Kimpton life; for we are an inclusive church, called to be caring, loving and welcoming to all.

We open on Sundays for fellowship and to worship God. Children, families and everybody is very welcome in services and in Sunday Club, called BLAST. You’ll find a warm friendly welcome at any of the three church services you can choose from. We currently have a vacancy for a priest-in-charge but visiting clergy and our Lay Reader are taking our services.

The church is also open every day during daylight hours for you to come and find a quiet and peaceful space, to visit our amazing book and jigsaw swap area or to access our Food table.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Kimpton is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of St.Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO (Simon McCullough on 07443452195) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (Jez Hirst on 01707 818107). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
