St Leonard's Church, Flamstead

We're the church on the hill in Flamstead.

We serve a village of about 1300 people in Hertfordshire. We try hard to live our lives as Jesus taught us. On a good day we get it right.

We are an inclusive church: this means that everyone is welcome, of every age, background, race, language, ability and sexuality. It's OK if you don't know what you believe, or are on a faith journey. We would love to welcome you too.

We love music, our rural village, our very ancient church and God.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Flamstead is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of St.Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Mary Jenkin on 07557 765231 or [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, Jeremy Hirst on 01727 818107 or [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
