About Us
We are an inclusive Church and our members are valued
regardless of age, gender, race, colour, disability or sexuality.
We welcome you – as you are – wherever you are on your spiritual journey.
Our worship is based around a set liturgy, and aims to be relaxed but dignified.
An 8 am Holy Communion (traditional language) is usually held on Sundays and Christmas Day. This may not be held on some Sundays in July and August. Please check with the calendar below.
Our main Sunday Service is at 10am
On most Sundays this is a Parish Communion (modern language, sung setting, hymns, sermon).
Once a month, on the second Sunday in the month (except for those months when there are special services in the morning at 10 am) the 10 am Communion service is in three parts:
1. A 35 minute Service of the Word, exploring the theme.
2. The Peace, coffee and time for discussion.
3. At 11 am, Holy Communion, with a 3 minute sermon.
You may come to any or all of these parts.
There are Special Services without Communion on these occasions during the year
Mothering Sunday Fathers Day Harvest Festival Remembrance Sunday ChristingleOn those Sundays when there is a special service at 10 am, there will also be a quiet Holy Communion Service with hymns later in the morning.
We have a Crib Service for families on Christmas Eve at 4 pm
We also hold an Annual Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance one afternoon in the autumn at which we light candles for our loved ones who have died and read their names.
Please see the calendar below for details of when these special services take place.
We are a friendly church that welcomes new members from all
Christian traditions or newcomers to the journey of faith.
