For the latest news on services and events, visit https://www.achurchnearyou.com/church/7613/news/notice-sheet/grid/

Our usual main service is at 9.30 on Sundays.

There is usually a service at Christ Church at 11.00 on Sundays as well.

We also usually have a service at Christ Church at 10.00 on Wednesdays.

Our services are mostly Morning Prayer at the moment. We will try to advertise any changes to this.

Covid 19: For services in church, please wear a mask (unless medically exempt), sanitise hands on arrival, observe social distancing including the one way system. At communion services we are only sharing the bread, not the wine. We will bring communion to you at your seats. Doors will be open to maintain good ventilation so please dress warmly. Please don't come if you are not feeling well. If you can (and we are aware of the issues) please do a lateral flow test before attending church. We realise that not everyone will be able to do this.

The livestream Bible study is in abeyance at the moment, but is usually on Wednesdays at 1pm

Livestream Compline (late evening prayer) with space for free prayer is on most Thursdays at 8 pm for about 20 mins.

Contact us to find out how to join in our livestream activities.

The Food Bank is open on Thursday mornings at Christ Church as usual

You can find materials for worship and prayer here and on the Church of England website https://www.churchofengland.org

You can contact us by email or by phone (see the Get in touch tab) and give us any requests for prayer. If you are self-isolating and need help with shopping or just a phone call, please ask us.

On the news/notices part of our pages here you can find prayers for the Corona virus outbreak. You'll also find the Sunday notice sheet - both sides are there as separate downloads.

St Mark's is a small, friendly and enthusiastic church. Sunday services start at 9.30 am, finishing by 10.30 and everyone is welcome to join in. Everyone is welcome at all of our services and we have people from many different cultures in our congregations. Children (especially lively ones) are very welcome and there's plenty of space for small, active, people to move around during the services.

We meet in a flexible church building which is also the centre for many of our children and family activities. It's also widely used by different groups from our local community. St Mark's is one of two Church of England buildings in the parish (the other being Christ Church)
