Every year we mark the sacrifice of those serving in the armed forces in times of war. We begin at the War Memorial at Christ Church at 10.45 am and move into the church shortly after the two minutes silence to continue the service, which will include Holy Communion, indoors. Children are welcome at all our services.

At communion services, please come up to receive the bread and wine; if you wish you may dip the wafer in the chalice (intinction).

You can find materials for worship and prayer here and on the Church of England website https://www.churchofengland.org

You can contact us by email or by phone (see the Get in touch tab) and give us any requests for prayer. If you are self-isolating and need help with shopping or just a phone call, please ask us.

On the news/notices part of our pages here you can find prayers for the Corona virus outbreak. You'll also find the Sunday notice sheet.

We are a small but growing church with an accent on working with children and young families. We have Sunday School or activities for children during the Sunday service using the café area at the back of church. Overall our worship style is traditional but transitioning into something more contemporary.

Our main Sunday service starts at 11.00, finishing around 12.00 (see services tab for details)

Everyone is welcome at all of our services and we have people from many different cultures in our congregations. Children (especially lively ones) are very welcome and there's plenty of space for small, active, people to move around during the services.

To find out about our weekday work with children and families, visit the Lift Off! website at www.liftoff.org.uk
