Congratulations to our amazing bell ringers who won 1st prize on 15th July at the Surrey Association of Church Bell Ringers competition. We are all very proud of Anne Rueff and the team!
A concert of mostly Coronation music, sung by the choir of St John’s Church, was well received by a sizeable audience on Saturday 23rd June 2023. Those attending even had the chance to join in at the end.
I am really excited to be joining the Churchwarden team and looking forward to working alongside Andrew, Patrick and Alistair to support the smooth running of our Church.
Managing a church is like tending a garden. We have to do all sorts of things to encourage growth. Sometimes it involves hacking back & clearing the ground. Sometimes it involves planting new initiatives & hoping & praying that they will take root.
