I am really excited to be joining the Churchwarden team and looking forward to working alongside Andrew, Patrick and Alistair to support the smooth running of our Church.
I live locally in Redhill with my husband, Kat, and our two children, Lily and Ben. I am a Chartered Physiotherapist with a special interest in management of neurological conditions.
My family and I have been worshipping at St. John's since 2013 and we value being a part of the kind and supportive community that we all share. Our children continue to thrive within the Junior Church groups and Lily is a long-term member of the Junior Choir. We have all found support and friendship within this congregation and I look forward to getting to know a wider group of people as I embark upon this new role.
It was an honour to attend the recent Visitation Service with John and Andrew and I have begun to attend PCC meetings. I am very grateful for the warm welcome that I have received so far. With each meeting that I attend, my knowledge of Church activities grows and I have become increasingly aware of all the many tasks that need to be completed behind the scenes to make our shared worship possible. If any of you feel able to offer your time and skills to support the running of our Church, I am confident that we can find a role to suit you.
