Getting here
Small friendly Church built 60 years ago to serve a council estate. Flexible internal layout - the hall and Church can be combined or separate - giving good space for the many social events which take place. The hall is widely used by a range of organisations - mainly for the young and the old, although there are also things like a monthly Councillors' surgery. This is about the only good meeting place in Cottonmill, so it is useful for public meetings and consultations, meetings of the Residents' Association and children's parties.
There is a service at 9.30 every Sunday - more in the Sunday Services section below.
St. Julian's is a daughter Church of the Parish of St. Stephen with St. Julian: the vicar is responsible for both Churches. Other ordained priests - some retired - help with services at both Churches.
St. Julian's is child-friendly, and we have a good congregation of the very young. They also have their own weekly service - Tots & Teddies.
