This church is taking part in a citizen-science study of churchyard carbon storage commissioned by the Church of England from the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology in partnership with conservation charity Caring for God’s Acre. The study will collect evidence about the potential of churchyard soil, grassland, trees and shrubs for carbon storage.
