Led by Martin Palmer, environmentalist, religious historian, author and broadcaster. Everyone is welcome to this special seminar to hear Martin Palmer speak and to be involved in discussions around the following:
· Reconnecting - the need to reconnect with our ‘sacred land’ if we’re to avert ecological and public health crises
· Pilgrimage - its value in today’s world; managing ecological footprints; living consciously - our own lives as a kind of pilgrimage
· Walking together’ - networking and discussion, aimed at supporting one another as we work for a more compassionate, just and sustainable future; taking the next step
This is an exceptional opportunity for people from churches and other faith groups to come together and share ideas and experiences. Anyone with an interest in the health and welfare of our planet, community and people should find this both fascinating and inspiring.
This event marks the conclusion of a week-long pilgrimage along the St Albans Way Pilgrimage Path, organised by the St Albans School of Philosophy, starting at St Paul's Cathedral in London on Sunday June 16th.
Tickets for the seminar please see Pilgrimage seminar. Tickets are £10, per person and ongoing reductions for groups of two or more. Please contact Rachel on [email protected] if you are interested in joining a group attending the seminar.
