The Chrism Mass held on Maundy Thursday celebrates the ministry of the whole people of God, espcially those who worship and minister in this diocese of Oxford. At this sung service, our Bishops, Clergy and Licensed Lay Ministers will renew their ministerial vows, and the holy oils of the Catechumens, Anointing the Sick, and of Chrism will be blessed. The Bishop of Reading, The Rt Revd Mary Gregory, will preach the sermon.
